What would I be doing?

Under direction, to supervise the operation of the Security/Safety Department on an assigned shift to maintain a safe and secure environment for our guests, our team members and our company assets.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, plan and schedule security activities for the Security Assistant Supervisors as directed by management.

 

  • Assign work to Security Officers and establish priorities.

 

  • Train, inspect and evaluate Security Officers for alertness, appearance, and proper performance while on duty and correct deficiencies.  Recommend the employment, promotion, and termination of security personnel. 

 

  • Respond to all non-routine incidents in a supervisory capacity ensuring appropriate action is taken.

 

  • Supervise and evaluate security reports for accuracy and completeness.

 

  • Ensure all incidents are thoroughly investigated and appropriate action is taken and notifications are made.

 

  • Assure all Missouri Gaming Commission Regulations and requirements are met and followed by all security personnel.

 

  • In the event of a life threatening fire, shooting, flood, or other disaster, the supervisor will coordinate the emergency activities including notification of police, fire, Security Director, and General Manager until the arrival of the responsible fire/police department or executive.

 

  • Determine and recommend changes to improve security operations.

 

  • As needed, the supervisor may assume the same duties and responsibilities as listed in the Security/Safety Officer’s or Assistant Supervisor’s job description.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Graduation from high school or successful completion of a GED Certificate.

 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

 

  • Minimum of four (4) years experience in casino security or the law enforcement field.

 

  • At least one (1) year experience in supervision.

 

  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, organize work, and to train Security Officers in the performance of their duties.

 

  • Demonstrate and understand management’s point of view.
