What would I be doing?

Serves food and beverages to guests in a quick, efficient, and courteous manner. Clean and reset tables with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position)

 

  • Bus tables after each course.
  • Assist the host staff with greeting and seating guests pleasantly, quickly, and efficiently.
  • Assist other team members in job functions when appropriate.
  • Communicate problems/situations to management or relief personnel.
  • Be able to answer the phone properly and take reservations when appropriate.
  • Must be knowledgeable about and all it has to offer.
  • Must be aware of business needs, station assignments and breaks
  • Knowledge of safety procedures
  • Remove debris (i.e., napkins, straw wrappers, and other materials) from the floor as required or necessary.
  • Monitor door at all times to insure prompt seating of guests.
  • Responsible for cleanliness of all restaurant.
  • Adhere to all prescribed Service Standards and Service Sequence.
  • Must be able to handle “guest recovery” situations.
  • Bus tables at conclusion of guests leaving by wiping the entire table, chairs, and booth seats. Must adhere to all prescribed Service Standards and Sequence of Service.
  • Inspect entire floor area for cleanliness.
  • Work in conjunction with the food server to meet the guest’s needs.
  • Always conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive professional image to Pinnacle Entertainment.

What are we looking for?

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

  • One (1) year experience as a busser with exceptional work habits.
  • Good guest service/hospitality skills.
  • Must be able to successfully complete all required training classes.
  • Must be a great team player.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
  • Assist server with table maintenance.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers and gaming license within assigned state of employment and other jurisdictions

Must successfully pass background check

Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening

Must be 18 years of age
